Maymom Wide-Neck Flange for Spectra/Medela (1-piece Design) with Valve & Membrane is a breastshield and connector in one that connects to Spectra and Medela Breastpumps for pumping into wide-neck milk bottles. It comes with a valve and membrane. This one-piece design makes for easier cleaning, less chance of losing suction, and less parts to bring when you are on the go.

One-piece design; easy to clean, less piece to keep, and less chance for suction power loss.
All components are safe for steam sterilization, microwave sterilized or sterilized in boiling water.
Compatible with all Medela pumps except Sonata, FreeStyle, Swing Maxi and Harmony.
US FDA registered medical device; Comply with US FDA standards for containers that contact food and class II medical device.
Standard sized 25 mm inner diameter is most comfortable for the majority of breast feeding moms. However, other sizes are available too.
Other sizes to choose from - 19, 21, 24, 25, 32 mm one-piece flanges (*22 mm insert to use with 25 mm flange and 28 mm insert to use with 30 mm flange - not included)

How to choose the right size of breastshields for you?

The inner diameter of the breastshield (B) should be 1-2 mm larger than the diameter of your nipple (N). AFTER a pumping session or 3-5 mm BEFORE a pumping session. You should be able to see free movement of your nipple during pumping and there should be little or no suction of the areola into the tunnel of the breastshield.

When it comes to pumping comfort, every millimeter counts. That is why we design a series of breastshields of small increment sizes. Maymom MyFit^TM one-piece breastshields are available in 15 (XXS-), 17 (XXS), 19 (S-), 21 (S), 24 (M), 25 (M+), 26 (L-), 27 (L), 29 (XL-), 30 (XL), 34 (XXL-), and 36mm internal diameters plus 22 mm and 28 mm inserts to fit the majority of breast pumping mothers

How to measure the diameter your nipple?

Download the nipple caliper file, print it out, cut through the red line, fold along the green dots then you have made yourself a nipple diameter measuring tool! See below for the finished ruler.

Can thsi fit pigeon wide neck bottles?

This product is meant to fit Spectra wide-neck bottles. Spectra wide-neck bottles has similar width as Pigeon wide-neck bottles, but threading may be slightly different.

It would fit but screwing on may not be 100% perfect and secure.

Hi, Can I chk what is this difference between this and the 2 pc design?

The 1 piece design means the product is made as 1 whole piece.

Maymom Wide-Neck Flange for Spectra/Medela (2-piece Design) with Valve & Membrane, 1pk: 2 piece design means the product is made from 2 pieces, whereby the flange and the connector is fused together using the soldering technique. Marks may be observed on the jointed area, please be assured that it is due to the soldering process; no glue is used and product have been tested and is safe for use.

Hi, good day!I have a Spectra S1 machine handed down with no accessories.May I check, beside getting this set, i do need to buy the back flow protector and tubings right?So sorry as I am very new to this. Thank you very much for your assistance! Cheers! :)

If you are pumping double-side, please ensure you have the following:

2 x Flange
2 x Backflow protector & membranes & valves
2 x Tubing
2 x Milk Bottle

Hi can I use the wide to standard wide neck adapter on this so I can fix my standard neck bottle on this flange.?

If you are pumping into standard-neck bottle, you are better of using this product Maymom Breastshield for Spectra with Valve & Membrane, 1pk (8 sizes, 15-36mm) (click here).

It allows you to pump straight into a standard-neck bottle, without having to use a bottle adaptor.

Have also tried the original duckbill Spectra valve with the maymom breast flange- seems compatible and does not affect my pumped volume. Do note that the maymom valve needs to be fitted on as they advise with the silicon flap facing toward the maymom label in order for the suction to be most effective.
