The calendula flower is now organically grown under California Baby watchful eye and processed in-house, resulting in a super-concentrated extract that wasn’t possible before, giving you more of the soothing benefits of calendula in every bottle. We’ve also added sustainable Safflower Oil for its emollient and skin-conditioning properties to further soothe sensitive skin and evening primrose, a rich source of essential fatty acids for skin conditioning. In the end, we now have a higher percentage of moisturizing ingredients in every bottle. And of course, it’s always pH balanced to suit even very sensitive and allergy-prone skin.

This multi-award-winning cream is also a fan favorite. The star of the show is Calendula, a flower that’s been used to soothe skin for centuries. To keep a watchful eye on this key ingredient, we grow Calendula on our own organic farm in California. We supercharge every product in our calendula collection with extra calendula extract, bringing you more soothing relief in every jar.

This powerful moisturizer is made with plant-based emollients, aloe vera, and no harsh chemicals - making it perfect for dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin. It’s also non-greasy and absorbs quickly - leaving the skin feeling softer and more comfortable. Our scents are made from 100% pure essential oils and zero of the unknown and unlisted chemicals found in synthetic fragrance. The light scent is a calming blend of French lavender, clary sage, and, of course, calendula.

This cruelty-free product is allergy tested and does not contain: gluten, soy, oats, dairy, or nuts (except coconut).

Free of: harsh chemicals, petroleum-derived ingredients, parabens, and synthetic fragrance.

Water, calendula officinalis flowers (calendula flower) infusion, caprylic/ capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl caprylate, calendula officinalis extract (calendula) in vegetable glycerin, cetyl alcohol, canola oil, safflower seed oil polyglyceryl-4 esters, stearic acid, aloe barbadensis leaf juice (aloe vera), yucca schidigera root extract (yucca) viola tricolor extract (pansy), carthamus tinctorius (safflower), oleosomes, allantoin, levulinic acid, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, xanthan gum USP, p-anisic acid, pure essential oils or lavandula angustifolia (French lavender) and salvia sclarea (clary sage), phytic acid (rice origin).

*Note on crystallization and natural ingredients 

California Baby uses natural, organic and purely plant- based ingredients instead of sulfates, irritants and synthetic fragrances. As a result, some products can be sensitive to changes in temperature. These temperature changes can cause natural/organic ingredients to crystalize. However, this phenonmenon occurs very rarely and should not be a cause for concern. Thorough investigations by California Baby has proven that this crystallization is not harmful and remains safe to use for babies.
